Sustainability Dialogues: interview with Tannis Thorlakson (Stanford University)

We begin our series of podcasts called "Sustainability Dialogues" with an interview with Tannis Thorlakson, a PhD student in the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment & Resources (E-IPER) at the Stanford School of Earth Sciences.

Tannis led an investigation titled "Improving environmental practices in agricultural supply chains: The role of company-led standards" in which she analyzed the impact of the company-led standard program, Farming for the Future (FFF), from South African retail chain Woolworths.

With Tannis we talked about the effectiveness of the sustainability programs of the companies, their challenges and the impact they can have on the ground.
