SAN welcomes its new Partnership Development Manager
The Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) welcomes its new Partnership Development Manager: Florah Ikawa-Witte. She will be working from Berlin, managing the organization's strategic partnerships and fundraising strategy from October 1st, 2019.
Ikawa-Witte brings with her over 12 years of substantial international expertise in resource development, monitoring and evaluation, and institutional learning processes.
Most recently, she supported different organizations as an independent consultant and served as Fundraising Manager, Resources and Sustainability Coordinator, and other positions, for the Transparency International Secretariat in Berlin. Previous to that was engaged in grassroots work in South Africa and Kenya.
Ikawa-Witte is a team player who believes and practices collaboration within the organization and with partners. She earned an M.Sc. in Urban Management Studies at the Berlin University of Technology and a Bachelor of Education in Science (Geography & Mathematics) at the Egerton University in Kenya.
“With the SAN´s new Strategic Plan, Florah comes in the right moment to strengthen our partnerships and project portfolio development and to engage our members and partners in effective collective impact efforts to make agriculture the foundation of thriving and resilient rural landscapes and livelihoods," said the SAN’s Executive Director, José Joaquín Campos.
The new SAN Partnership Development Manager is a Kenyan professional who speaks three languages: English, German, and Swahili.
