Edwin is an agronomist with extensive experience in sustainable agriculture and business processes. He is part of the technical unit and provides support to project management, design and quality control of services, and measure of agricultural environmental impacts, as well as coordination with SAN members and external experts for different activities and initiatives.
Edwin has a degree in Agronomic Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica and an MBA from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
Before joining SAN, Edwin worked as Sustainability Manager for The Coffee Source LLC, and as Business Analyst for Ecom Agroindustrial, but also has experience as project coordinator and field technician, managing various certification schemes for coffee farms and processors. He is based in Costa Rica.
