The Role
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to play a key role in executing SAN’s daily and weekly marketing tasks. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing to maintain SAN’s brand consistency, engage diverse audiences, and support fundraising activities. Responsibilities Summary:
Daily and Weekly Tasks: Manage social media, update website content, distribute newsletters, and monitor media mentions to identify engagement opportunities.
Monthly and Quarterly Planning: Develop content calendars, analyze digital performance, and contribute to webinars, podcasts, and publications.
Fundraising and Donor Communications: Support fundraising campaigns, donor outreach, and engagement tracking while ensuring messaging aligns with SAN’s brand.
Collaboration and Quality Assurance: Partner with consultants for design and production, coordinate with the Senior Manager, and assist in media relations and press releases.
Requirements
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or communications, preferably in the nonprofit or sustainability sectors.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience working in small teams and a proactive attitude.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Ability to work remotely.
