Cecilia joined SAN in 2015 working as an assistant to SAN´s Executive Director. She helps coordinate the bi-annual board of directors´ meetings.
Cecilia received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Economics from Utah State University. Her professional experience is in agricultural and resource economics and sustainable development in Latin America. In the past, she was a water resource management consultant to World Bank-funded projects in Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. In recent years, she also worked as a consultant for Mott MacDonald on strengthening local water users’ associations in Moldova by developing course material and conducting workshops on strategic planning.
Cecilia has also had an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Economics at the University of Central Arkansas and has taught undergraduates courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and International Trade. She is currently based in the United States.
