Deppy Keranidou
Coordinator, Network Engagement
Deppy is a cultural anthropologist with a diverse professional background across nonprofit, corporate, and governmental organizations. With roles at Nike’s European Headquarters, the Municipality of Utrecht’s International Affairs department, and the European Cultural Foundation, she focused on the intersection of climate and culture. Additionally, she has contributed to grassroots cultural initiatives at the Espacio Joven in Granada and Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam, as well as collaborating with the Municipality of Thessaloniki’s Department of Culture on various cultural projects.
Holding an MSc in Cultural Anthropology from Utrecht University, Deppy specializes in sustainable citizenship and strategic communications. Her expertise encompasses:

Database management for effective, targeted outreach
Newsletter production to keep communities informed and engaged
Sustainability policy publications to inform and influence environmental strategies
Her professional experience spans philanthropy, active citizenship and participation, climate justice, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and arts and culture. She has driven various sustainability initiatives, integrating environmental considerations into corporate, cultural, and community projects.
Deppy is based in Granada, Spain. Outside of work, she is passionate about outdoor sports, experimenting with fusion cooking -and above all, coffee.
Currently, Deppy serves as a Network Engagement Coordinator at SAN, where she cultivates vibrant member connections to advance sustainable agricultural practices globally.
