Geographic Scope

Aapresid operates nation-wide in Argentina. Additionally, has also developed initiatives in Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela, Ghana, Guinea, and South Africa.

Asociación Argentina de Productores en Siembra Directa (Aapresid)

Aapresid is an Argentinian non-profit organization promoting sustainable agriculture through its membership of nearly 1800 producers, with influence over 11 million hectares.

Mission Statement

Promote sustainable production systems for food, fiber and energy, through innovation, science and networked knowledge management.

Work Scope

Aapresid’s main areas of work are organized under several operational units responsible for dedicated programs, which includes a variety of projects and initiatives.

Among them are 'Regionales' (gathering around 40 regional groups in Argentina and abroad), 'Sistema Chacras' (fostering alliances between producers, scientists, the private sector and public institutions, under the philosophy of “learning by producing” in real-life situations), a Pest Management Network, and a Certification division.
