ADC works with vulnerable communities - especially women from ethnic minorities - in the rural and mountainous areas of Vietnam.

Agriculture and Forestry Research and Development Center for Mountainous Region (ADC)

ADC is a non-profit organization that implements research activities and trainings in the fields of agriculture, forestry, sustainable livelihoods, climate change, and natural resource conservation.

Mission Statement

ADC’s mission is to empower vulnerable people to achieve their fullest potential to lead their lives in an equal, inclusive, and progressive society.

Work Scope
  • Agriculture, forestry, and sustainable livelihood development. Ensuring food security plays an important role in poverty alleviation.

  • Climate change and disaster risk management. Climate change adaptation based on indigenous knowledge.

  • Natural resource management and biodiversity conservation. Community-based natural resource use and management.

  • Networking and development opportunities. Supporting ethnic minority communities to have access to policies and information, ensuring their voices are listened to by policy makers.
