Help Shape the Future of Regenerative Agriculture

The Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) is on an exciting phase of growth — and we are looking for a bold, strategic leader to help us scale our impact.

We are recruiting a Director, Corporate Engagement (CED) to lead SAN’s private-sector partnership strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth in alignment with our mission.

This is a senior executive role, reporting directly to the COO, designed for a visionary professional who understands both the commercial realities of global agrifood systems and the transformative potential of regenerative agriculture.

📍 Location: Remote (Worldwide)

🗓 Application deadline: 24 April 2026

Why This Role Matters

Agriculture sits at the center of today’s most urgent global challenges — climate change, biodiversity loss, food security, and rural livelihoods. Corporations across agrifood value chains are under increasing pressure to deliver measurable sustainability outcomes while maintaining competitiveness and resilience.

SAN is uniquely positioned as a global network advancing sustainable and regenerative agriculture. The Director, Corporate Engagement will ensure we become the premier partner for corporations committed to transforming agricultural systems — responsibly, inclusively, and at scale.

This role will architect and execute a multi-year corporate engagement strategy targeting 15–25% annual revenue growth, diversify SAN’s funding base, and strengthen mission-aligned partnerships across global markets.

What the Director Will Do

🌍 Lead Strategic Business Development

  • Design and implement a multi-year corporate growth strategy aligned with SAN’s mission and priority markets

  • Identify, secure, and expand high-value partnerships with agrifood corporations, retailers, and traders

  • Close complex agreements (>$500k) and build a strong, measurable revenue pipeline

🤝 Build Executive-Level Partnerships

  • Cultivate trusted relationships with C-suite leaders

  • Develop compelling business cases demonstrating ROI and sustainability impact

  • Represent SAN in global industry forums and strategic dialogues

🚀 Drive Innovation & Market Positioning

  • Monitor ESG investment trends, regulatory shifts, and global market dynamics

  • Advance innovative models such as blended finance and co-investment

  • Strengthen SAN’s competitive positioning in regenerative and sustainable agriculture

📊 Strengthen Performance & Leadership

  • Lead proposal development, negotiations, and governance

  • Implement CRM and pipeline tracking systems

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team

  • Contribute strategic insights to SAN’s Senior Management Team and Board

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a senior professional with:

  • 10–12+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or strategic account management

  • A proven track record of revenue generation and closing complex agreements

  • Experience working within or alongside multinational agrifood and retail value chains

  • Deep understanding of sustainable and regenerative agriculture, climate resilience, and inclusive market systems

  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence across complex, multi-stakeholder environments

A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required. Fluency in English is essential; Spanish and other languages are a plus. The role requires availability for international travel (up to 30%).

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who combines strategic vision, commercial acumen, and deep commitment to climate solutions and sustainable livelihoods.

The Sustainable Agriculture Network is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or any other legally protected status. We strongly encourage applications from qualified candidates from underrepresented communities, including women and professionals from the Global South, whose perspectives and experiences strengthen our global impact.

Join a Mission-Driven Global Network

At SAN, our work is rooted in integrity, stewardship, collaboration, innovation, and continual learning. We operate as a global network dedicated to enabling agriculture to heal and nourish the planet while supporting the people who depend on it.

This is more than a fundraising or sales role — it is a leadership opportunity to help shape the future of regenerative agriculture by building partnerships that deliver measurable environmental and social impact.

If you are ready to align business growth with planetary resilience, we encourage you to apply.
