Alexander Wankel

Alex joined SAN in 2022 and has advanced sustainable agriculture and rural livelihoods in South America through social enterprise, responsible supply chains, and plant-based innovation. He co-founded a startup supporting regenerative smallholders in Peru and has managed grants and private investment for impact. He holds an MBA from Oxford (Skoll Scholar) and a BA in Anthropology from Brown University.
