Raquel Suárez

Raquel Suárez is MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) Lead at SAN. She brings over 20 years of experience in humanitarian and development contexts, with expertise in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, programme quality, capacity strengthening, and the facilitation of participatory processes, workshops, and collaborative learning spaces. Having lived and worked in Africa for 10 years, she has supported international and local organizations across Africa and other regions. Based in the Canary Islands, she is also engaged in community initiatives linked to local memory, cultural heritage, environmental protection, and the defence of territory, with a focus on community resilience and care for local ecosystems.
