Carlos Vilas

Carlos has a communications background, with a decade of journalistic experience working in international media outlets. He has been based in Madrid, Bangkok and Washington, DC.

He has extensive experience engaging stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams in the global expansion of a media partnership. He liaised and fostered synergies between partner organizations at an international level, as well as in Asia and the USA. He also has experience as a researcher and sustainability consultant in an international development context.

Carlos lived in Lithuania and Brazil as part of undergraduate exchange programs, and he holds a MSc in Global Challenges from The University of Edinburgh, with a focus on sustainable development.
