Jasson Muir Clarke

Marketing and Brand Manager

Jasson is SAN’s Marketing and Brand Manager since June 2021. He has a decade of experience in communications, journalism and public relations, mainly in the fields of strategic planning, science communication and nonprofits. He is a skilled strategist with a passion for creativity in different formats, such as video production, social media, written content and graphic design.

He has worked as a journalist and science communicator for national and international publications, and as a communications professional for different nonprofits, focused on the fields of environmental conservation and sustainability. He has also taught in the University of Costa Rica, and given lectures at international events and universities on topics such as sustainability, science journalism and strategic nonprofit communications.

Jasson graduated from Indiana University with an MBA, majoring in both Management as well as Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation, with a minor in Marketing and a certificate degree in Social Entrepreneurship. He also obtained a masters’ degree in Communication Management from Costa Rica’s Distance State University, and bachelors’ degrees in Journalism and Public Relations.
