John has a wide diversity of professional, academic, and personal experiences in the agriculture, food, and international arenas, including retail product development; microfinance in the developing world and the U.S.; food and technology import and export; sales and marketing; food production and agricultural engineering; business development in multicultural environments; finance and operations analysis and reporting; brand management; and team leadership.
He holds bachelors' degrees in Management/Engineering (Claremont McKenna College) and Agricultural Engineering (California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo), and a master's degree in Economics (University of San Francisco).
He has also been a graduate and undergraduate instructor of international business, economics and statistics.
John is based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
